Why are my emails going to spam?

by Meelika Kivi

The primary reason for emails landing in spam is the presence of SPF and/or DMARC records on the domain you use for sending emails (e.g., example.com). These records restrict MailMergic from sending emails on behalf of your email address (e.g., user@example.com).

SPF Record

Please consult your IT department to verify the existence of an SPF record. If one is present, consider whitelisting the domain mail.mailmergic.com to authorize the sending of emails from your domain.

DMARC Record

Similarly, check with your IT department to confirm the presence of a DMARC record. If a DMARC record exists, you’ll need to establish a new sender using either the SMTP or DNS verification method to enable MailMergic to send emails on your behalf. It’s important to note that these methods are exclusively available with the Enterprise plan.
