Yes. You can upload any PDF or Word file as your template, including templates designed in Word, InDesign, or Canva. MailMergic positions your data fields visually, so no redesign is needed.
How does the bulk certificate generator handle large class sizes?
There's no practical limit on rows. Upload a spreadsheet with 50 students or 5,000. MailMergic generates thousands of certificates in a single run. Processing time is typically under a minute for standard batch sizes.
Is student data secure? Can FERPA-regulated institutions use MailMergic?
Yes. MailMergic uses encryption in transit and at rest, EU-based hosting, and strict access controls. We never use customer data for advertising, AI training, or content analytics.
For U.S. educational institutions, MailMergic can serve as a "school official" under FERPA's school official exception. We provide a FERPA addendum to our standard DPA, and we'll review customer-provided student data privacy agreements on request.
For fully on-premise processing, our offline desktop app runs entirely on your machine, no data leaves it.
