What happened to PDF Mail Merger?

PDF Mail Merger started with a single job: take a PDF form and an Excel file, and generate one personalized PDF per row. Certificates, invoices, letters, labels, thousands of documents in one run.

In 2024 we renamed the product to MailMergic because it had outgrown its name. Alongside PDF, it now merges Word, Excel and image templates, sends personalized emails with attachments, and runs as an offline desktop app.

Everything else stayed the same. Same company (MailMergic GmbH in Eschborn, Germany), same team, same focus on document automation, and the same tool behind it all. Old pdfmailmerger.com links redirect here automatically.

Is MailMergic the same as PDF Mail Merger?
Yes. MailMergic is the direct continuation of PDF Mail Merger. We rebranded in 2024 as the product grew beyond PDF. It is the same company, the same accounts and the same tool with broader capabilities.
Does my old PDF Mail Merger account still work?
Yes. Log in at my.mailmergic.com with the email address you used before. Your subscription, credits and templates are untouched.
Do old pdfmailmerger.com links and bookmarks still work?
Yes. pdfmailmerger.com redirects to mailmergic.com automatically. Updating your bookmarks is a good idea, but nothing breaks if you do not.
Why did the name change?
The original name described exactly one feature: merging PDFs with mail merge data. Once the tool learned Word, Excel, image and email-only merges, the name no longer fit. MailMergic covers everything the tool does today.
