I have sensitive documents. How safe is MailMergic?

The topics of data protection and data security are more relevant than ever. MailMergic therefore does everything in its power to fully protect you and your documents from the most diverse dangers in the network.

Hosting & operations

MailMergic runs on Google Cloud in the EU (Belgium). Google’s security teams monitor that infrastructure for threats around the clock. On our side, access to production systems is limited to the few people who run MailMergic.

Internet communication

Every connection to MailMergic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google Cloud’s network protection shields the service against denial-of-service attacks.

Sign-in

You sign in with a password, your Google or Apple account, or a passkey. You can add two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

Storage

Your files and spreadsheets are stored in Google Cloud in the EU and encrypted at rest.

Documents that must not leave your computer

For data that must stay in-house, use MailMergic Offline. The desktop app runs the whole mail merge on your own computer: your spreadsheets, templates and generated documents are never uploaded. It only contacts us to activate the license and check for updates.
