New Feature: Pixel-perfect Positioning of Placeholders

by Meelika Kivi

This week we introduced another new feature for MailMergic: We have simplified the precise positioning of the placeholders with our editor.

Before our update, placeholders with a very small font size were covered by the placeholder’s anchor handles. It was hard to make out where exactly the text starts:

Selected Last Name placeholder in the editor whose left anchor handle covers the beginning of the text

After our update, we have removed the anchor handle in the middle left, as well as adapting the anchor handles to the selected font size. So you can now always see where the text of the placeholder starts:

The same Last Name placeholder after the update, with smaller anchor handles and the text fully readable

In addition, you can now use the arrow keys on your keyboard for pixel-precise positioning. Each time an arrow key is pressed, the placeholder is moved one pixel in the desired direction.
