Your Excel file must adhere to a few easy formatting guidelines so that we can process the data it contains correctly:

Correct

Correct — Excel table contains header row, vertical data flow

Missing header row

Incorrect no header row — Header row is missing

Table not on 1st sheet

Incorrect 2nd sheet — Data table is not located on the 1st spreadsheet of the workbook

Horizontal table

Incorrect Horizontal Data — Horizontal data flow
