What does “Accepted” mean when sending emails?

If a message receives the status “Accepted”, it has been successfully delivered to the SMTP server you specified.

Please note that this does not necessarily mean that the message will be delivered to the final recipient. It simply means that your SMTP server is now responsible for delivering the message and has placed it in its queue for sending.

It is still possible that the message will be delayed or not delivered at all, for example, if the recipient’s email address does not exist. It is up to your SMTP server to handle this. MailMergic has no way to track the status of the message after it has been delivered to your SMTP server. Please check your server’s logs or contact your IT department to find out if a message was successfully delivered or not.
